Description

It´s a thought.. an emotion.. a memory.. a yearning

This image means quite a lot to me.
It´s dedicated to my girlfriend who´s always there for me even if days r gettin darker.

I think it can be considered symbolically...
No matter how hopeless things seem you don´t have to worry as long as there is somebody who you can trust in.

Just face your problems and together you´ll solve them.

Good concept, seems a bit unfinished around the burst. The beem that they are sit on seems tilted backward. The left portion doesn't add much to the image, a crop to vertical could give more imapct to the couple and blast.

Excellent image, but methinks those two are gonna be in trouble despite having each other.

The city and figures look great. I like how they kind of blend in with the buildings but still get our attention because of the brighter lighting on the beam. This is, of course, personal preference, but I would be tempted to crop not the left but a lot of the top. IMO, this would place more focus on the people rather than the explosion (which I assume was your intent from the description) and actually provide more interest and drama because we can't see the source of the light and destruction. I also admit I just love the way the light fades from back to foreground. Just my own feelings.

It's stellar as is.

Actually the image had about two thirds of the height it has now when I started painting the burst but many people I´ve shown it 2 thought it was a sunset and not an explosion so I decided to add more to the top ^^

Powerful concept, great perspective, good detail. The outer edges of the blast could use some softening and general polish, but that's a very minor point. Otherwise it looks quite realistic (although I hope this is never reality).

Well done. I like the dutch angle, too.
Perhaps the two figures in the foreground could be emphasized a little more.
